The story of 'Maharani 3' begins from where the last season ended. Injustice has been done to Rani Bharti and she has been imprisoned for three years. Naveen Kumar, who became the Chief Minister, and his team have brutally eliminated Bhima Bharti and put the entire blame on Rani Bharti. Rani Bharti is on a mission to prove her innocence in this new season. But will she be able to prove her innocence to the people of her constituency and most importantly, to her family?
The third season of 'Maharani' is an interesting story of Rani Bharti's fight for justice in the murky world of Indian politics. Rani Bharti turned Huma Qureshi has been in jail for three years. Chief Minister Naveen Kumar (Amit Sial), a master of deceit, has planned to eliminate Bhima Bharti (Sohum Shah) and the entire blame falls on Rani. As Rani navigates the treacherous political landscape and personal turmoil, we as the audience are once again engrossed in a riveting tale of deception, intrigue and power struggles.
Based on the success of its previous season, the story of 'Maharani 3' also looks interesting. It goes deep into the politics of Bihar. From illegal transactions to brutal election strategies, the series keeps the audience engaged with the reality of this cut-throat world. However, there are some occasions in the eight episodes when the story lacks a twist.
Subhash Kapoor's creative team returns for the third time with a story by Nandan Singh and Umashankar Singh. Director Saurabh Bhave fulfills his responsibilities well beyond the seriousness on which the story was based in the last two seasons. The series begins with Rani Bharti's imprisonment and her subsequent mission to clear the stain on her name and seek justice for her family.
The story of Season 3 progresses at a slow pace, so it takes time to reach the audience. Whereas some plot twists seem very simple. Especially the murders lack thrill compared to other scenes. Despite this, the style of storytelling makes the series attractive. There is no doubt that 'Maharani 3' leaves a mark as a political-thriller.
