Yodha Movie Review

Sidharth Malhotra's film Yodha has been released in theatres. In this film, Siddharth plays the role of an army officer who works for special forces. He does not believe in bargaining with terrorists. Without waiting for orders from seniors, he jumps into action like a one man army to fight the terrorists. His wife Priyamvada Katiyal (Raashi Khanna) is the PM's secretary.

The flight in which Arun is deployed to protect the country's senior nuclear scientist gets hijacked. The scientist is killed. Arun is suspended. The warrior task force started by his father takes off. Arun, who has turned from a warrior to an air commander, boards a flight again after a few months.

His flight is changed at the last moment. This time there is a plan to blast the flight in Pakistan. How Arun accomplishes this entire mission, the story moves forward without any suspenseful dialogues.

How is the screenplay, action and acting?

It is a film of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, so from being shot in a big budget to the fast-paced background score to the hero's sunglasses entry, romance, action, everything is there. What is missing is a relatable, relevant story that presents patriotism in a new way to today's youth.

Together, the two directors have taken cinematic freedom and have come up with a film without logic. The names of soldiers who carry out intelligence missions in the army are kept confidential, but Arun Katiyal is a hero. Everyone knows him. At the beginning of the film, it is told that the soldiers of the Warrior Task Force are the best soldiers selected from the Air, Army and Navy.

In such a situation, when Arun's flight changes at the last moment, he does not even think about why this happened. The scene of landing an airplane in Pakistan is very childish, where a novice pilot performs this task.
