The Kapil Sharma Show is a Hindi-language Indian stand-up comedy and talk show broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television. As a comedy program, it is very popular among Hindi speaking people all over India and the world. Kapil Sharma is the host of this program. The first season of the show premiered on 23 April 2016.

The series revolves around Sharma and his neighbors in Shantivan non-co-operative housing society. The filming of the show takes place at Film City (The Kapil Sharma Show Shoot and Production Studio) located in Goregaon East, Mumbai. The first season of the show was produced by Sharma's banner K9 Productions in collaboration with Frames Productions, while the second and third seasons were produced by K9 Productions and TEAM as creative producers.

The format of this series is very similar to Comedy Nights with Kapil. The show revolves around Kapil Sharma and his team of comedians, which includes Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar, Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh and Rochelle Rao. All these actors play the roles of residents of Shantivan Non-Cooperative Housing Society in this program.

Each episode usually comes in two parts, with the first part being a comic skit made by the show's actors and the second part being a celebrity interview. Earlier Navjot Singh Sidhu was the judge of the show, but after 16 February 2019, he was replaced by Archana Puran Singh.
