Kartik Aryan is an Indian film actor. Karthik was born on 22 November 1990 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Karthik's full name in childhood was Karthik Tiwari, which he later changed to Karthik Aryan. Karthik's mother and father both are doctors. Karthik had told in one of his interviews that along with his college studies, he also used to go for auditions for films. Karthik also went to acting school to learn the nuances of acting. After coming to Mumbai, he struggled for 3 years. Kartik told his family about his desire to pursue a career in films when he got his first film “Pyaar Ka Punchnama”.

He entered Hindi cinema with the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. This film proved to be a tremendous film of 2011. The story of the film was made keeping in mind today's youth. Since then, Karthik has acted in many Bollywood films. Among which Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh etc. are prominent.
Karthik's upcoming film is Dhamaka, in which Karthik will be seen in the role of a journalist.
